Il 22 e 23 luglio 2017 si svolgerà a Maniago “Coltello in Festa”, che giunge quest’anno alla sua XIV edizione.
Il momento centrale della festa è costituito dalla mostra mercato dei produttori locali di ferri taglienti con le proprie creazioni, e, sin dalle prime edizioni, si è affiancata l’esposizione custom, iniziativa molto apprezzata dal pubblico. Infatti la mostra, ospitata nei prestigiosi spazi del quattrocentesco Palazzo d’Attimis Maniago, affianca produzioni artigianali tipiche a nuove interpretazioni delle lame attraverso l’uso di materiali e tecniche variegate e rappresenta un’importante occasione di incontro e confronto tra produttori custom.
Anche quest’anno è stato istituito il II concorso internazionale per i migliori coltelli amatoriali a lama fissa e chiudibile “Città di Maniago – Città delle Coltellerie” riservato agli espositori custom aderenti alla mostra e che svolgono questa attività a livello hobbistico.

We would like to invite you to the 14th annual Maniago Knife Festival, which will be hold on 22 and 23 of July 2017. The festival celebrates centuries of tradition in the blacksmiths trade and knife making industry. During the festival there will be an exposition and a custom knives contest.
